Led by 6 string violinist Chris McKhool, world-jazz string wizards The Sultans of String are known as ‘Canada’s ambassadors of musical diversity’. In the past year, the Sultans have acquired a JUNO nomination and took home 1st place in the International Songwriting Competition. This Bassment show will feature the release of their new CD, MOVE, a spicy stew of Gypsy jazz, Spanish flamenco, Middle Eastern roots, and Cuban rhythms.
