Bill WatsonWith the passing this summer of Bill Watson, Saskatoon lost one of its greatest and most beloved jazz musicans.   As a jazz drummer, jazz advocate, and jazz mentor, Bill Watson left an indelible mark on our music scene.   Sarah Anderson, Brett Balon, Sheldon Corbett, Grant Currie, Laurie Currie, Maurice Drouin, Shelly Ewing, Doug Gilmour, Don Griffith, Wilma Groenen, Vesti Hanson, Bob Klassen, Arlan Kopp, Skip Kutz, Teegan Jeffers, Shelly Loeffler, D’Arce McMillan, Dennis Nichol, Hans Van Norren, and a host of other local musicians will be donating their time and talent to pay tribute to Broadway Bill.   All proceeds will go towards a youth jazz education fund.
